Canadian Forces Family Consultations Forum Now Open
Director Military Family Services (DMFS) is keeping the lines of communication open to families throughout this time of transformation. The latest step in our ongoing dialogue with families is the Canadian Forces (CF) Family and Military Personnel Consultations Forum, an online discussion board asking families’ opinions on which of our services are succeeding, and which services they would like to see enhanced.

29 Sept 2008 - The Canadian Forces Family Covenant
The idea of a Canadian Forces Covenant was first introduced at the Canadian Forces Family Services Summit held in May of this year. Attendees, comprised of MFRC staff, board members, family members and CF members, had the opportunity to provide direct input. Over the course of the summer additional feedback was solicited which resulted in the final product. As you will see, the Covenant reflects a commitment to our families and it serves as the cornerstone, or foundation, from which we can continue to enhance military family services. Director General Personnel and Family Support Services, specifically Director Military Family Services, will lead the way in the upcoming months in developing initiatives to enhance existing services offered to families and introduce new programs that are relevant to the needs of military families today.
