New Face at DMFS

Director Military Family Services (DMFS) is pleased to announce the arrival of a new member to our team. On 20 January 2010, Julie Leblanc assumed her position as the Military Family Services Communications Manager. 

Julie holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies/Social Policy, and brings 17 years of progressive public relations experience. She has particular expertise in corporate communications, crisis management, media relations/training, publicity and promotion. Some highlights of her career include serving as Manager, Corporate Communications & Public Relations at TVOntario, and Senior Communications Advisor at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. 

Julie joins Jen Dalziel, MFS Information Coordinator, rounding out DMFS’ communications section. Undoubtedly the duo will form a formidable team and will well-position DMFS to successfully launch the upcoming enhancements to the Military Family Services Program.
