Strategic Vision - Personnel and Family Support Services
In April 2010, an initiative was launched to develop the vision that will underpin the long range, dynamic, and responsive strategic plan for Personnel and Family Support Services for the coming decades.
The development process for the vision will incorporate complimentary short, medium, and long range plans with a structured monitoring and reporting system. A combination of input from key stakeholders and social / scientific research will be used to implement the type of services, programs, and activities that will best fit the needs of our evolving defence community.
On 31 Mar 2011, Armed Forces Council embraced the concept of “One Community – One Million Strong” as the theme for the development of the NPP vision for the future. DGPFSS is presently preparing a Vision Statement and the accompanying Guiding Principles for the approval of the NPP Board that will serve as the foundation for the development of the NPP Strategic Plan.
