Donate to the Soldier On Fund

Your kind donation will support ill and injured CF personnel or former personnel in their efforts to restore the joy and freedom of their lives through physical fitness, recreation and sport.

How can you contribute?

Will I receive a tax receipt for my donation?
Yes, you will receive a tax receipt.  Donations to the Soldier On Fund are receipted as donations to the Crown and are provided with tax receipts.  The tax treatment for donations to the Crown is similar to donations to registered charities.  However, there is no registered charity number for donations to the Crown.

What percentage of the donation is spent on administrative costs?
No administrative costs are deducted from a donation. 100% of contributions go directly to support injured soldiers.

How is the fund managed?
All funds raised for the Soldier On Fund are managed by CFPFSS within the Canadian Forces Central Fund – the Soldier On Fund.

Guidelines for Activities and Events in Support of Morale and Welfare Funds
Many Base/Wing/Units, individuals and organizations express interest in supporting one or more of the official Morale and Welfare Funds that support the CF Community such as: Soldier On Fund, Military Families Fund (MFF), , Hospital Comforts Fund and CFPAF.
